2015-2017 Programs

Admission requirements:

In order to gain admission to Laurea Magistrale (Master’s Degree) Studies in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Applicants must have completed mission specific courses and show to have a solid background in this area. For admission to Laurea Magistrale (Master’s Degree) Studies in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, a background knowledge equivalent to the one developed by attending Bachelor’s Degree studies in Industrial Engineering programs (i.e. Class 10 as specified by Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999 and Class L-9 as specified by Ministerial Decree No. 270/2004) is required. Applicants in any case must meet the following entry requirements:

  • University Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree, earned from an Italian University or a University Degree following a 5-year program earned from an Italian University or other comparable degrees are required;
  • 36 cfu (earned credits), or equivalent knowledge, earned from any undergraduate and graduate program in the scientific-disciplinary sectors specified for basic Degree education for Class L-9 Industrial Engineering are required;
  • 45 cfu (earned credits), or equivalent knowledge, earned from any undergraduate and graduate program in the scientific-disciplinary sectors specified for basic Degree education for Class L-9 Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture Disciplinary Area are required;

The above curricular requirements must be met before evaluation of individual preparation. For more information, see the relevant curricula for each academic program. No evaluation of individual preparation is required of candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree score of minimum 9/10 of the maximum score available (i.e. 99/110).
